Oreti River Home 2.0

This beautiful new home is on the banks overlooking the Oreti River. It was carefully designed and engineered to be built on a raft floor system due to the nature of the environment it sits on.

This home has been built for our Southern winters/summers – capitalising on homegrown Southern products whenever possible. Some stunning features throughout. A home to relax and enjoy whatever the day may bring. A vision brought into reality by the owners.

Oreti River Home
Exterior

This wonderful new home is located up on the banks overlooking our very own Oreti River.

This house is constructed with a raft floor on piles and has underfloor diesel heating. Rockcote exterior walls contrasts beautifully with the Macrocarpa timber. Being Southern farmers they have upgraded to wool insulation throughout, making use of this highly efficient, wonderful product. High performance thermal frames with low E glass completes this package.

The kitchen ties in beautifully, lovely open plan. Awesome splash-back that actually changes colour depending on the angle you view it.

Stunning Birch ply high vaulted ceiling completed in a negative detail provides a point of difference while creating a light and airy space. Amazing work by the team, completed  to perfection.

Gorgeous copper soakers teamed with Southland’s Macrocarpa timber provides another small detail that sets this home apart.

Nicely finished off channel entrance with hardwood gutters allows for an even entry level from the concrete patio into the home.
